Terms and Conditions

The rules that apply to Groupire Lottery ticket purchases, the VIP Club and website use.

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Groupire Lottery website (groupire.com) and every ticket you purchase from us. By creating an account or buying a ticket, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

To purchase a Groupire Lottery ticket you must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of Australia with a valid Australian postal and billing address. We reserve the right to request proof of identity and age before releasing any prize.

2. Tickets and entries

  • Tickets are sold in Australian Dollars (AUD) only.
  • Once a draw has closed, no further ticket sales will be accepted for that draw.
  • Refunds may be requested within 48 hours of purchase provided the draw is still open; refunds are processed back to the original payment method within five business days.
  • Ticket numbers are allocated sequentially. You will receive confirmation with your ticket numbers by email immediately after purchase.

3. Draws and results

  • Draws are conducted under the supervision of an independent scrutineer at the time published for each draw.
  • Winning numbers are published on the Groupire Lottery website within 30 minutes of the draw closing and are emailed to all ticket holders within 24 hours.
  • In the unlikely event of a postponement, all existing tickets remain valid and ticket holders are notified within 24 hours.

4. Prizes

  • Cash prizes are paid by direct electronic transfer to the winner's verified Australian bank account within five business days of identity verification.
  • Non-cash prizes (vehicles, travel, caravans, experiences) are arranged by our concierge team in consultation with the winner.
  • Prizes are not transferable except in the event of a prize claim by a legal representative under Australian law.
  • Groupire Lottery reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value where the advertised prize becomes unavailable through no fault of the organisation.

5. VIP Club

  • VIP Club subscriptions auto-renew monthly. You may pause, downgrade or cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard with no cancellation fee.
  • Tickets allocated through the VIP Club are subject to the same rules as standard tickets.
  • Access to VIP-only bonus draws is conditional on an active paid subscription at the time of the draw.

6. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Notify us immediately at support@groupire.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your consent. You may only hold one active Groupire Lottery account at a time.

7. Responsible play

Groupire Lottery is committed to responsible play. Every account has a default monthly spend limit of $200, which can be lowered at any time. We also offer cool-off periods and permanent self-exclusion — see our Responsible Gambling page.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Groupire Foundation Ltd's liability to you in connection with the purchase of a ticket is limited to a refund of the ticket price. Nothing in these Terms excludes any guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, regulations or operations. The current version will always be published on this page with the "Last updated" date revised. Material changes will also be emailed to registered members at least 30 days before they take effect.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Queensland.
